Yes, folks it’s that time of the year and we’re getting “that question,” asked a lot. Below is another iteration of our August 2012 holiday calendar of hours and closings.
The July 4th holiday weekend has come just at the right time. Summer Session I has ended with a whirlwind of activity this week, and now it’s time for students and faculty to relax and unwind for a few days before Summer Session II begins.
Just a reminder that the library will be closed Saturday, July 2nd and Monday, July 4th (enjoy the fireworks). Normal hours resume Tuesday, July 5th. If you are wondering where this photo came from you’d be right if you said AP Images (one of the databases available to students and faculty at Bank Street).
The library is usually open in August: Monday-to-Thursday, 9am – 5pm. This year it’s a little different. We’re going to be closed the second and third weeks for renovations. Don’t forget we will be closed Saturday, July 2nd and Monday, July 4th in honor of Independence Day.
We are open during spring break. That’s right, we’re open! And, it’s business as usual.

For our visual learners: the library’s hours over the New Year break are as follows:
The library will close at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, November 24th for Thanksgiving.
We will reopen on Monday, November 29th, 2010. Happy Thanksgiving from the library.
Correction to August Hours 2010: The library will be closed Saturday July 31st, 2010.
It’s that time of the year again, and people are asking about our August hours. Prior to August it’s business as usual – same Monday to Thursday hours (9:00 am – 9:50pm), same Friday hours (9:00 am – 5:00 pm), and same Saturday hours (10:00 am – 5:00 pm). We are closed Saturday July 3rd through Monday July 5th in honor of July 4th Independence Day but apart from that we are OPEN! However, August is a little different. Below is a visual representation of our August hours.
