BookFest @ Bank Street

Bank Street College of Education is proud to host BookFest @ Bank Street for the first time on Saturday, October 30, 2010, 9:30 am to 3:00 pm. 

BookFest @ Bank Street is an event devoted to the celebration, discovery, and discussion of books for children and teens. The keynote address will be delivered by New York Times best-selling author Laurie Halse Anderson.  Authors, illustrators, editors, and scholars will take part in panel discussions and breakout sessions.

BookFest began in 1971 when it was founded by Frances Henne, a faculty member at Columbia University.  Registration will open the week of August 30.  For more information, contact Ellen Greene at 212-875-4452.
