Videos, DVDs, CDs, and Books on Tape

Yes, we have all of these items and more. In the old days we used to interleave graduate school multimedia items in the general collection, so it was possible to serendipitously find a video tape squished between books in the stacks. Juvenile items were on spinner racks near the circulation desk and in bookcases near the shelving area and the reference desk.

We listened and learned that most of our patrons wanted to BROWSE multimedia items. So, we set aside two separate areas where all adult, and juvenile multimedia materials could be found.

If you need to view video tapes in the library we have two machines set aside for this purpose. Check out some headphones from the circulation desk so you can listen without disturbing other patrons (iPod earphones work just as well).

Use any pc or mac in the library to view and listen to DVDs and CDs.
