Where Are the Series Books?

So, you’ve got the call number JFS from the online catalog for Lemony Snicket’s “The Carnivorous Carnival,” and you head off to the Children’s Library to find it, but wait a minute you note that the catalog says “Main Room Children’s Collection Series Books.”

OK, so now you’re not quite sure of where to go, right? The answer is: there are three locations, all very close to each other containing hard-cover series books.

Like everyone else at Bank Street we face space constraints, below is the third place you’ll find series books, which are more than two books featuring the same set of characters.

Note, you can also find some series in the paperback section as well. If you’re still wondering where series are, and your librarian is attending to other patrons ask any school-for-children student and they’ll show you in a flash!
