March Update

The Cook Prize

This new award honors the best science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) picture book published for children aged eight to ten. To learn more about the award head over to Lindsey’s  new display on the bulletin board opposite the Spanish language collection.

Irma Black Award

We’re psyched! Keep this date free: May 17th. There’s a School Library Journal blog, and a facebook page – sorry but there’s no excuse for not keeping up with this Bank Street Library favorite.

eBook

The Children’s Book Committee has been hard at work producing their first eBook, Best Books to Read Aloud With  Children of All Ages. Not only does it have lots of good advice but, it has hyperlinks to each book discussed (very useful for busy people).
