The Friday After Sandy

Although school was closed last Friday (11/02/2012), some Bank Street School for Children students came back so moms and dads could catch up with things at work. As you can see from the photos below kids headed to the Library and got lost in some great books.

Where The Wild Things Are

Children’s Librarian Allie Bruce shared one of her favorite picture book’s with lower school children; Maurice Sendak’s “Where the Wild Things Are.”

Sharing Books

An upper school student buddy reads with a lower school student.

Gosh! This must be a really interesting book, four students share a book together.

More book sharing – what a great way to forget about Sandy.

All photographs were taken by Interim Children’s Librarian Allie Bruce.

Reference librarian at Bank Street College Library.
