Reference Questions: Books With More Than One Location

Q: I’m looking for this book. The record says Claudia Lewis collection, where is that?

A: There are lots of books that are in more than one location in the library. For instance, in the record for the book above, A Frog’s Body, you will see that we have two copies. One is in the non-fiction section and the other is in the Claudia Lewis collection. They both have the same Dewey decimal call number. When you are looking for a book, it is worth looking at the record to make a note if it is in more than one location.

The Claudia Lewis collection is a small collection of children’s books at the back of the library on your left. Here is some more information about it.
