April: National Poetry Month 2014

It’s not over yet, but April is National Poetry Month. This year Thursday, April 24 was National Poem in Your Pocket Day.

The Poetry Archive is great place for teacher and student resources. We also like Poet Seers – lots of themes and categories to choose from. Remember if you want to browse J811 is brimming with poetry books for kids – at last count we had 1,074 tiles to choose from.

In a Hurry?

Pick up A Poem in Your Pocket Day offering from the circulation desk. Finally, make sure you stop by archivist Lindsey Wyckoff’s National Poetry Month display opposite the reference desk.
