Duolingo

Although we think it’s a great idea to learn a language, some online programs can stretch the budget. This is where Duolingo steps in, it’s free forever and doesn’t have any ads.

The interface is clean and simple and it’s quite fun. One nice feature is that it will send you an email reminder to login and practice. Another feature we like is that you can download it to your smart phone and continue learning on your commute, or when you have a little time to kill.
